Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Tuesday October 17th,

2023 special meeting of the Walnut Creek City Council. We are convening today for the purpose

of interviewing Measure O citizens oversight committee applicants and to take action on the

appointments for our committee. Under California law public comments at special meetings are

limited to subjects on the agenda only and at this time I will open public comment to see if

any members of the public wish to speak to us on the agenda item. Seeing no

members of the public who wish to speak to us we will adjourn this council

meeting to the special meeting upstairs on the third floor.
