First, let me say thanks to the citizens of Walnut Creek for re-electing me.
Getting to be your mayor this year is one of the best holiday gifts I've received.
Next, as we head into the holiday season, let's all celebrate the good things in this
world and tell our friends and family how much we love and care for them.
Lastly, please join my family as we pray for a peaceful and rewarding new year.
It's always a festive time in Walnut Creek when the holiday season arrives.
Our city is decorated in lights.
are here shopping and dining, and there's an excitement in the air. My family celebrates
Hanukkah and we'll be lighting our menorah at home for eight nights, beginning coincidentally
on December 25th this year, the same night as Christmas. Whichever seasonal holiday you
celebrate, may it be a happy one with family and friends as we bring 2024 to a close and
ring in the new year. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays!
The sunset of one year and the dawn of the next gives all of us a chance to reflect on
what has happened over the past 12 months while we rest and rejuvenate for the year
to come.
So, as we celebrate the holidays this year, I wish you and your family a season of hope
and joy, a season of sharing and caring, and a season of laughter and good cheer.
Happy Holidays, and May 2025 be the brightest year ever.
I want to wish you and your family
a very happy holiday season.
I hope that you're able to connect with family and friends
and reflect on the year that's been
and welcome the year that is to come.
As the story of George Bailey reminds us
and it's a wonderful life,
the love of family and the strength of our community
can sustain us in both good times and bad.
I hope this holiday you too are reminded
of the things that matter most in life.
Season's greetings, may the new year bring good tidings to you and peace to our world.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Let's take this time to reflect on the past year, remembering both the joys and the losses,
and treasuring our family and friends who are with us, as well as those who have gone before us.
I hope in the coming year we will focus on our commonalities, look to bridge our differences,
and move closer together. I believe we have much more in common than what separates us.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and I wish you a Happy New Year.
