Happy Holidays! I hope you and yours are enjoying the season and all the wonderful traditions our city has to offer.
Whether it's taking in a Christmas carol at the Lesher, lacing up your skates at the ice rink, or savoring an evening stroll through the Bancroft Garden of Delights. Enjoy!
I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Holiday season.
I hope that you're able to connect with family and friends and reflect on the year that's
been, and welcome the year that is to come.
This year, I'm especially grateful for my family and the time I got to spend with them.
I also greatly appreciate Walnut Creek residents who show up in countless ways to help one
another and improve our city.
Next year, I'm excited to see our son Andrew graduate from college.
I'm also looking forward to watching construction begin
on the new community center and aquatic complex
in Heather Farm Park.
I hope this holiday season,
you too are able to reflect on the things
you are grateful for
and the things you are looking forward to.
Seasons greetings.
May the new year bring good tidings to you and your family
and peace to our world.
Hi, I'm Cindy Silva.
The sunset of one year and the dawn of the next
gives each of us a chance to reflect on the year that has passed and an opportunity to
rejuvenate for the year to come. So as we celebrate the holidays, I want to wish you
and your family a season of hope and joy, a season of sharing and caring, and a season
of laughter and good cheer. Happy holidays and may 2026 be merry and bright.
Hello Walnut Creek and happy holidays. As we come to the end of the year I want to take
moment to reflect on what this season is truly about. Gratitude, love, family, and community.
This is a time to appreciate the people in our lives and to hold close the loved ones who bring
meaning to our days. We also take a moment to remember those we've lost, keep their memories
in our hearts, and think of those who are sick or facing hardship. I feel so fortunate to represent
this warm, caring and deeply engaged community. As we look forward to the new year, I'm filled
with gratitude and optimism for what lies ahead. From my family to yours, I wish you a joyful
holiday season and a healthy, peaceful new year. I love the festivities in Walnut Creek when the
holiday season arrives. Our city is decorated in lights, families are here playing, shopping and
dining. There is an excitement in the air and the Walnut Creek ice rink is in full swing
along with the winter slide for this year. My family celebrates Hanukkah and will be
lighting our menorah at home for eight nights beginning on the evening of December 14th
through December 21st. Whichever seasonal holiday you celebrate may it be a happy one
with family and friends as 2025 comes to a close and we ring in the new year. Happy Hanukkah,
Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays!
